Originally manufactured in Italy, this stackable dinnerware won the prestigious Compasso d'Oro Award for Good Design in 1964. In 1971, manufacturing moved to the United States. Vignelli’s original Heller tableware was in bright yellow. Introducing a broader range of colors in the mid-seventies created an instant classic. In 2003, Massimo and Lella Vignelli received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.
Most of the available Heller dinnerware is in excellent never used to very lightly used condition. Multiple colors available, in dinner, salad, large serving platters, bowls, mugs and coffee sets as well as small, medium and large covered bowls. Also available are album holders in red, green, black and yellow.
